Me

A few things about me:

  • I started my business when I was 15.
  • The Lord of the Rings and V for Vendetta are tattooed on my arm.
  • Don't ask me to do anything illegal. My girlfriend works for the police.
  • I used to be fluent in French and Spanish. These days, I can get by over dinner.
  • Half of my family are from Gibraltar and Morocco. I've still never been to Morocco.
  • I’ve never admired celebrities or public figures. The only hero I've ever had is my dad.
  • I'm the proud father to a parrot called Icarus. If we work together, you'll probably get to meet him.
  • I hold mostly conservative values but welcome thoughtful ideas from any side of the political aisle.
  • I lived in and around London for 29 years. In 2025, I made my dream move to the Cotswolds and have never looked back.
  • I was a music scholar at school. In addition to drums, I also play guitar, bass, piano, and a range of percussion instruments.
  • I'm an ambivert. I naturally lean more introverted, but my extroverted side kicks in when I'm around certain types of people.
  • I once drove three hours to play a gig in the Welsh valleys. It turned out the audience was mostly pensioners. I played anyway.
  • My mum brought me up on 80's heavy metal and hard rock, listening to bands like Iron Maiden, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, and Van Halen.
  • I've been waiting over two decades for Arsenal to win a league title. That should tell you a little something about my loyalty and commitment.
  • In a past life, I was a professional heavy metal drummer. By 16, I was touring the country, writing and recording albums, and signing endorsement deals.
  • I'm Jewish and proud of my heritage, but I'm constantly looking for "answers". I educate myself on all religions, as well as atheism, to keep my mind open.
  • My brother and I were among the first to upload music covers to YouTube in the mid 2000s. We had 1.3 million views which, for those days, was pretty cool.
  • My school year group had a record number of offers from Oxford and Cambridge. You can imagine their disappointment when I said I was going to film school. The work I ended up making would screen online, on TV, and in cinemas around the world.
  • My first fractional CMO client said, and I quote, 'I'll be honest, Kaine, I think marketing is a load of bollocks.' (That means ‘nonsense’ if you're not British.) I asked him to let me prove him wrong. He agreed. We've now been working together for over five years.
